The 42nd Annual LOUDOUN HUNT POINT TO POINT Sunday, April 13, 2008 Oatlands Plantation, Leesburg, Virginia First Race - JR FIELD MASTERS CHASE - SMALL PONIES - 1:00 PM Open to Junior Riders. Junior Field Masters Chase Conditions. First Race - JR FIELD MASTERS CHASE - LARGE PONIES Open to Junior Riders. Junior Field Masters Chase Conditions. First Race - JR FIELD MASTERS CHASE - HORSES Open to Junior Riders. Junior Field Masters Chase Conditions. Second Race - MAIDEN HURDLE About 2 1/4 miles. For Four-Year- Olds and Up which have never won over hurdles. Weights: four-year-olds, 155 lbs.; older, 160 lbs. Third Race - OPEN HURDLE About 2 1/4 miles. For Four- Year-Olds and up. Weights: four-year-olds, 155 lbs.; older, 160 lbs. Maidens allowed 10 lbs. Winners under NSA rules over hurdles in 2007-08, 10 lbs. extra. Fourth Race - NOVICE TIMBER About 3 miles. For Five-Year-Olds and Up which have not won two point to point or one sanctioned race over timber prior to January 1 of the current season. Weight 165 lbs. For each series win 3 lbs. extra up to 6 lbs. over the base weight. Fifth Race - OWNER RIDER TIMBER About 3 miles. For Five-Year-Olds and Up. Seven Corners Series Conditions. Weight 180 lbs. Maidens allowed 10 lbs. For each series win 3 lbs. extra up to 6 lbs. over the base weight. Fifth Race - 2nd div. - FOXHUNTER TIMBER About 3 miles. For Five-Year-Olds and Up. Orange County Foxhunters Series. 170 lbs. For each series win 3 lbs. extra up to 6 lbs. over the base weight. This race may be combined with the owner-rider timber race. Sixth Race - FLAT About 1 3/4 miles. For Three-Year-Olds and Up which have not won under rules on the flat in 2007-08. Weights: three-year-olds, 150 lbs.; four-year-olds, 155 lbs.; older, 160 lbs. Maidens allowed 10 lbs. Seventh Race - THE WILLIAM CORCORAN EUSTIS CUP (Open Timber) About 4 miles. For Five-Year-Olds and Up. Weight: 170 lbs. Eighth Race - LADY RIDER TIMBER About 3 miles. For Five-Year-Olds and Up to be ridden by Lady Riders. Weight 150 lbs. Maidens allowed 10 lbs. Winners under NSA rules over timber in 2007-08, 10 lbs. extra. Ninth Race - VIRGINIA BRED/SIRED FLAT Purse $2,000. About 1 1/4 miles. For Three-Year-Olds and Up, Registered Virginia Bred or Sired. Three-year-olds, 150 lbs.; older, 160 lbs. Maidens allowed 10 lbs. Tenth Race (Extra) - MAIDEN FLAT About 1 1/4 miles. For Three-Year-Olds and Up which have never won on the flat. Weights: three-year-olds, 150 lbs.; four-year-olds, 155 lbs.; older, 160 lbs. ADDITIONAL RACE INFORMATION The hurdle races will be carded and run only if there are sufficient entries. If the hurdle races fail to fill sufficiently by scratch time Wednesday, the extra race will be run. Thirteen starters allowed in all races. Entry fees: $10 in junior races, $25 in all other races.
